THE Ampang-Kuala Lumpur Elevated Highway (Akleh) will be temporarily closed from 11pm this Saturday until 10am on Sunday to facilitate the Standard Chartered KL Marathon 2015, the highwayâ€™s managing authority said.
â€œThe closure will affect the entire length of the highway and all exits and entrances to the highway,â€ said Projek Lintasan Kota Holdings Sdn Bhd (Prolintas) in a press release.
It added that the closures would affect the following entrances and exits to Akleh.

â€¢ Jalan Raja Abdullah (JRA)
â€¢ Jalan Tun Razak Selatan (JTR3)
â€¢ Jalan Tun Razak Selatan (JTR4)

â€¢ Jalan Jelatek from Wangsa Maju (JJ 2)
â€¢ Jalan Lingkaran Tengah 2 near Hotel Flamingo (JUK 2)
â€¢ Jalan Kerja Air Lama near Petronas
â€¢ Taman Ahmad Razali (Jalan Ampang)
â€¢ Jalan Tun Razak Utara (JTR 1)
â€¢ Jalan Sultan Ismail (JSI 2)

â€¢ Jalan Tun Razak Selatan (JTR2)

â€œThe highway will be open to traffic from 10am onwards.
Road users are advised to use alternative roads and observe all traffic and safety notices during this period.
â€œSafety personnel and traffic police will also be stationed at the above areas.
â€œNotices and banners will also be installed prior to the event,â€ said Prolintas.
