AKLEH Closes For 12 Hours This Weekend

THE Ampang-Kuala Lumpur Elevated Highway (Akleh) will be temporarily closed from 11pm this Saturday until 10am on Sunday to facilitate the Standard Chartered KL Marathon 2015, the highway’s managing authority said.

“The closure will affect the entire length of the highway and all exits and entrances to the highway,” said Projek Lintasan Kota Holdings Sdn Bhd (Prolintas) in a press release.

It added that the closures would affect the following entrances and exits to Akleh.

Entrances:

• Jalan Sultan Ismail (JSI 1)

• Jalan Raja Abdullah (JRA)

• Jalan Tun Razak Selatan (JTR3)

• Jalan Tun Razak Selatan (JTR4)

• KLCC carpark

• Jalan Jelatek from KL (JJ 1)

• Jalan Jelatek from Wangsa Maju (JJ 2)

• Jalan Lingkaran Tengah 2 near Hotel Flamingo (JUK 2)

• Jalan Kerja Air Lama near Petronas

• Taman Ahmad Razali (Jalan Ampang)

• Jalan Tun Razak Utara (JTR 1)

Exits:

• Jalan Sultan Ismail (JSI 2)

• Jalan Ampang (Menara Sunway)

• Jalan Tun Razak Selatan (JTR2)

• Jalan Tun Razak Utara (JTR3)

• KLCC carpark

• Jalan Jelatek Wangsa Maju bound (JJ 3)

• Jalan Lingkaran Tengah 2 near Sikh Temple (JUK 1)

• Jalan Kerja Air Lama (JKAL 1)

• Jalan Memanda 9 exit at Tiara Condominium

“The highway will be open to traffic from 10am onwards.

Road users are advised to use alternative roads and observe all traffic and safety notices during this period.

“Safety personnel and traffic police will also be stationed at the above areas.

“Notices and banners will also be installed prior to the event,” said Prolintas.
