PUTRAJAYA – AirAsia X (AAX) has sponsored a group of Malaysian students involved in organising a global talent programme, “Australia Cultural and Technology Exchange 2018 (ACUTE18)”, in Melbourne University, Australia from April 3 to 7.
AAX Malaysia head of marketing, Jurvena Lee sent off 42 Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) students who were accompanied by the university’s deputy vice-chancellor, Professor Durrishah Idrus on the morning of April 3.
“ACUTE 2018, a collaboration between Student Representative Council members from UTM and Malaysian Student Council of Australia (MASCA) in Victoria, Australia, Badan Hal Ehwal dan Pembangunan Islam (EHSAN) in Melbourne, and Malaysia’s Consulate-General there, is held to promote Malaysian culture to Australian students.
“It also highlights UTM students’ latest innovation, a rapid, cost-saving and durable interlocking brick construction system that has been recently used to build community houses in Tawau, Sarawak,” said AAX. – BERNAMA
