KUALA LUMPUR – The Yang di-Pertuan Agong Tuanku Abdul Halim Mu’adzam Shah today conferred the Malaysian Armed Forces (ATM) gallantry awards on 192 recipients at the Istana Negara here.
The king bestowed the honorary Panglima Setia Angkatan Tentera (PSAT) award to seven military senior officers led by Maj Gen Datuk Mohd Noor Osman.
Six other recipients of the PSAT were Maj Gen Datuk Abdul Halim Jalal, Maj Gen Datuk Zamrose Mohd Zain, Laksda (Rear Admiral) Datuk Pahlawan Mohamad Adib Abdul Samad, Laksda Datuk Khairul Anuar Yahya, Laksda Abdul Rahman Ayob and Maj Gen Datuk Abdul Mutalib Abd Wahab.
Also present at the investiture were Armed Forces chief Gen Tan SriZulkifeli Mohd Zin and Army chief Gen Tan Sri Raja Mohamed Affandi Raja Mohamed Noor.
Thirteen officers received the Pahlawan Angkatan Tentera (PAT) award, 75 received the Kesatria Angkatan Tentera award and 97 received the Darjah Bentara Angkatan Tentera award. – BERNAMA
