KUALA LUMPUR – Malaysian football fans now can enjoy discounted tickets to watch the 2014 Asean Football Federation (AFF) Suzuki on Nov 23 in Singapore.
The Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) said the decision was made between FAM and the Football Association of Singapore (FAS).
Through the discounted price, local fans can purchase tickets for S$23 (RM60)compared with the previous price of S$26 (RM67), to watch both Malaysia’s matches against Myanmar on Nov 23 and Thailand on Nov 26 at the Jalan Besar Stadium, FAM said in its website.
However, due to the limited number of tickets allocated to Malaysian fans, ticket sales will be made on a first come, first serve basis, FAM said.
It added the ticket price for the highly-anticipated ‘Causeway Derby’ between Malaysia and Singapore at the newly-built Singapore Sports Hub National Stadium on Nov 29 will be sold at S$25 (RM65) compared to the previous price of S$28 (RM72.40).
The tickets can be purchased at the Shah Alam Stadium at Gate A and C from 3pm onwards, starting today, FAM said.
Malaysian fans are urged to bring their identity card as the Singaporean authorities would make checks on match day at both Jalan Besar Stadium and the National Stadium. – Bernama
