LIFE gets better for Muslim convert Harinder Pal Singh,23, who accepted the Islamic faith after attending famed preacher Dr. Zakir Naik’s lecture at Bukit Jalil hockey stadium on the 16th of April.
After hitting a rough patch being terminated from his employment as a civil staff in Melaka, the Indian national’s setback have gathered massive press coverage that led to another blessing: he is now hired to work for Noh Hujan!
Noh, who is the frontman of indie band Hujan and a restaurant owner, heard about Harinder’s plight and decided to give the best ‘welcoming gift’ to the new convert by offering a job at his Sarawak-cuisine eatery.
The good news was told to Syafinah Othman, producer of Info Taqwa #Penghijrahan Fenomena show, by Noh himself, who is currently in Jordan with his wife, Mizz Nina.
Harinder made the decision after he was satisfied with the explanation by the preacher about a non-Muslim converting to Islam for marriage.
The 23-year-old Punjabi Hindu clarified that he wasn’t forced by anyone to accept the religion.
“No, no one forced me. I believed in Allah and that Prophet Muhammad is God’s messenger and I’m willing to be a Muslim,†Singh said during the question and answer session.
International Islamic preacher Dr Zakir Naik on Sunday inspired four more people to embrace Islam. Four persons, including a Indian Hindu and a woman, converted to Islam after Zakir Naik’s lecture series in Malaysia.
During a question-and-answer session after Zakir’s two-hour lecture, the four people recited the syahadah (declaration of faith) at the stroke of midnight.-MYNEWSHUB.CC
