3 Delicious Milo Variations You Can Try At Home

in Latest

Ah, Milo. The chocolatey malted beverage so beloved by Malaysians young and old since 1934.

Initially introduced by Australian chemist Thomas Mayne some 80 years ago, the premixed beverage was marketed on its iconic green tin as a “fortified tonic food”.

Which explains why Milo is widely believed to be an elixir to boost pre-sports energy. Or because it contains a ton of sugar.

The method of preparation is too simple: add two heaping tablespoons of Milo and equal amounts of white sugar into a cup of freshly boiled water, stir then enjoy! Doesn’t take an Einstein to whip up a good mug of the sweet goodness, does it?

But what if I told you that you don’t have to follow the same-old-same Milo-making techniques to savour its deep, lip-smacking flavour?

With a little know-how, and a splash of creativity, you too can make your own personalized version of this childhood classic, as shown in the video below:

Or you can skip watching the video altogether and marvel at these tantalizing Milo variations instead. Either way, we ALL win!
