SEPANG – Twenty-five media practitioners from the Pahang Media Recreation and Welfare Club left for Vietnam to participate in the expedition to climb Mount Fansipan and scuba diving in the Ha Long Bay.
According to the expedition leader, Fadzli Ahmad, besides exposing the participants to healthy activities, it also aimed to promote the state of Pahang.
“We will be there for eight days. The participants had earlier undergone a two-month training,” he said before departing from the KL International Airport (KLIA), here today.
He said the participants would also visit the An-Nur Mosque in Hanoi for ‘gotong-royong’ activities besides presenting various items such as the prayer mats and ‘surah Yaasin’. – BERNAMA
