“Before being brought to MAHA, state-level competitions were held to select the best menus,” he told a press conference to introduce the popular dishes at Malaysia Agro Exposition Park Serdang (MAEPS) here today.
Among the dishes include Perlis ‘udang sanggol’, Melaka ‘asam pedas’, Pahang ‘pais ikan patin’, Terengganu ‘maggi ketam’, Penang ‘pasembor’, Kedah ‘moi sup’, Johor ‘kacang pool’, Negeri Sembilan ‘masak lemak cili api daging salai’, Kelantan ‘nasi ulam seratus lauk’, Perak ‘rendang tuk’, Putrajaya ‘nasi ayam berempah’, Selangor ‘nasi tomato’, Sarawak ‘mee kolok’ and Sabah ‘pisang goreng cheese’.
In another development, Federal Agricultural Marketing Authority (FAMA) chairman Tan Sri Badruddin Amiruldin said FAMA would assist food truck entrepreneurs in terms of business coaching and finding appropriate locations from the local authorities and state governments.
