PUTRAJAYA – A total of 126 Malaysian nationals have been evacuated from Sana’a in Yemen and have arrived in Malaysia, the Foreign Ministry said in a statement today.
It said a second batch of 54 Malaysians evacuated from Yemen arrived at the KL International Airport on two separate flights today.
Thirteen Malaysians arrived at 8.25 am and 41 arrived at 3.05 pm, it said.
The first batch of 72 Malaysians arrived yesterday, it said.
The government had decided to bring home Malaysians as a precaution due to the volatile situation in Yemen. – BERNAMA
